The Tavern is located across from the clock tower, right on the Children’s Lake in Boiling Springs. 

Constructed in 1832 and originally owned by Anheuser-Busch, the tavern serves a very nice selection of favorites and specialties. The tavern is also known for their selections of wine.

Welcome to the picturesque village of Boiling Springs.  Beautiful scenery, fly fishing, the oldest public pool in Cumberland County, quaint Bed & Breakfasts, plus theatre and local events.  Founded in 1845*, but settled prior to 1737, Boiling Springs is a village that surrounds the Children’s Lake, right on the Appalachian Trail.  The Memorial Clock Tower, erected in 1956 and the Boiling Springs (Grist) Mill, on record as early as 1785, are two landmarks in the village.  The mill is one of, if not the most photographed building in the village.

Boiling Springs was also a site for the underground railroad before the civil war, a tourist destination in the early 1900′s, a stop along the Appalachian Trail. Now a location for small shops, art galleries, cafe’s and restaurants, recreation and relaxation.  Boiling Springs is a fantastic community of individuals that are inspired to create that small town feel and share it with anyone who visits.

The village of Boiling Springs is located in South Middleton Township (township population 15,000 projected for 2010, I don’t have statistics for the village population).  The population of Cumberland County is approximately 215,000 (est 2000)

See that list of ‘Resources’ on the right?  Those are the categories where we are filing our articles.  For example…  Are you looking for the local pool?  Click on the ‘Swimming‘ resource and you will get a list of places/articles that were filed under swimming.  You will definitely find the Boiling Springs Pool in these result.
3. Of course the ‘Help’ tag at the top got you here, so we will assume that you know how they work.  However, in case not – simply click on each one and find results tailored to the tab you clicked.
4. Boiling Springs, PA 17007

WALK 1 MILE is a program to promote fair treatment of people with special needs. We want to come to your school, church, or whatever. We just might change the way you think for the rest of your life.

The Boiling Springs Triathlon started in 2005 with a test run of 10 participants. 

In 2006 it was upgraded to 30 participants and 10 team participants. 

The swim is 1/2 mile at the Boiling Springs Pool, followed by a 15 mile bike trek and a 3 mile run.

On the first Saturday in June, this juried Arts and Crafts show is held along the Children’s Lake on Front Street in Boiling Springs. Craft makers, organizations, and food vendor booths line the street from the Memorial Clock Tower, along the lake, right up to the walking bridge at the Boiling Springs Pool.

The food vendors are stacked up along 3rd Street and the arts and craft vendors line Front Street.

Parking can be difficult in the area.  You can find parking along some streets (although most are narrow and do not have side parking), or at the Yellow Breeches parking area.  More recently, shuttles have been made available from the high school down to the square.  The walk from the high school to the square is approximately 1/2 mile, if you would prefer not to wait for the shuttle.
