The food is exceptional and service is always friendly, professional and very knowledgeable and accommodating. 2. Stopped in with a few friends after a day of fishing the Breeches for a bite to eat and a few suds. Had the Filet Mignon and several Stoudt’s drafts while we watched some March Madness at the bar. The bar is made of some beautiful dark woods and the bartender (Ericka) was very friendly. Food was delicious and reasonably priced (filet = $26). Beer was ice cold with a nice local craft selection. They appeared to have a great wine selection as well. Great local tavern in a neat little town. I’ll definitely go back when fishing the area again.

  3. Stopped by in early July with my husband, Del. Had the canard l’orange; Del had the German trout with encrusted almonds. Outrageously toothsome!!! And quite reasonable, too. Total with wine (Liebfraumilch) and dessert and tip: less that $90. Highly recommended.
